Biography
Born Carolyn D. Wright in Mountain Home, Arkansas, C. D. Wright has published over 13 books. Among her many honours, she won the National Book Award, the National Book Critics Circle Award, and the Griffin Poetry Prize. Wright taught at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
